Looking for an Engineering Designer to support the Electronics Packaging department. As a member of the Electronics Packaging group, you’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers to make our technologies a reality. This position will serve on-site in Chandler, AZ.
Responsibilities:
• Support the modeling, drafting, and release of new or existing mechanical parts and assemblies related to launch vehicle avionics using Siemens NX managed with Teamcenter.
• Support the modeling and drafting of electrical printed wiring assemblies (PWA’s).
• Communicate project status to Responsible Engineers.
• Collaborate with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on the design of various system components.
• Compile digital product definition packages for final release per ASME Y14.41 - Digital Product Definition Data Practices using Siemens NX PMI and Teamcenter.
- Design and configure business transactions in applications including but not limited to SAP ECC Production Planning and Quality Management.
- Analyze, design, and test enhancements to new and existing SAP applications.
- Engage with Bell’s business users to communicate capability and build a backlog of opportunities.
- Identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting tasks/assignments.
- Design system specifications and interfaces for interacting components (ERP, MES & PLM)
- Design and develop apps to functional and technical standards.
-Provide support toward deployment of application releases into production.
- Create operational documentation.
- Meet service commitments for assigned deliverables and proactively provide work status.

Our Manufacturing Operations planning team breaks down the released engineering and develops the work instructions (planning), tooling requirements, and implementing changes to our existing and future products.
What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Operations Planner :
- Incorporate changes to Engineering using Bell systems, Policies and Procedures, and coordinating the changes with our Change Group and Manufacturing Customers.
- Utilize Bell CAD systems to analyze the need for tooling and participate in the design and evaluation process to produce our aircraft assemblies.
- Provide timely support to our factory floor to ensure timely and accurate changes to released production orders.

The Methods Planner – Supports aircraft MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations by developing, maintaining, and improving work instructions, routings, and maintenance plans. This role requires deep knowledge of repair techniques and hands-on experience with structural repairs to ensure maintenance activities are executable, efficient, and compliant with all regulatory standards.

Requirements:
• Must be able to identify the differences between FAA Order 8100.15b and FAA Order 8100.15c and develop new ODA procedure manual content or revisions to existing content ensuring compliance with FAA Order requirements.
• Must have general knowledge of FAA Orders would be helpful.
• Excellent communication skills; experience building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing responsibilities based on criticality
• At least 2+ years of related experience in aerospace
• Knowledge of the certification and ODA regulatory environment and work with the FAA highly preferred
