Apply knowledge of structural analysis to determine structural adequacy for customer requirements and regulatory compliance. Tasks include a range of demonstrated skills, including but not limited to: mechanics of materials, classic and finite element analysis, static failure modes, including stability, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis, adverse environments (thermal, vibration, corrosion), stiffness and modal analyses, structural and flight testing.
Document analyses in clear and concise manner, to Spirit or Customer standards, in reports and memoranda.
Review and approval of Spirit and Original Equipment Manufacturer drawings.
Collaboration on integrated product teams for structural design, manufacturing, and post-delivery of products is required.
Candidates must hold Security Clearance - Secret or Above.
Last investigation must have completed no earlier than August 2014.
