Another note worthy museum is the Indianapolis Museum of Art. They house over 54,000 works of art spanning all aspects of art. The sprawling grounds cover 152 acres where you can stroll through the gardens and take in modern outdoor art.

If outdoor activities are what you are looking for take a trip to the Canal Walk in Downtown. This canal was dug in the early 1800's and has since become a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. You can rent paddle boats and cruise along the canal at your own speed or try booking a gondola ride and enjoy a relaxing ride taking in the sights. Another popular thing to do is to book a tour underground, exploring the catacombs of Indianapolis in the City Market Catacombs Tour. This underground labyrinth was an operational market until the 1950's, when it tragically caught on fire. Now you can tour this maze and let your imagination run wild, it is supposedly one of the many haunted attractions in the city.
