Another must go to place is Fat Daddy's BBQ, located on Rt 9 this BBQ joint is a local favorite. This downhome restaurant is decked out with simplistic décor and checkered tablecloths, while it may look unassuming their pulled pork is mouthwatering and their ribs are something to talk about. They also offer wings and delicious sides like mac n cheese, coleslaw, and macaroni salad. You will not regret stopping in here.


What to Do in Georgetown

If you are looking for something fun to do while in Georgetown check out Marvel Carriage Museum. There are two large barns that house dozens of historic horse-drawn carriages, as well as other buildings on the property that you can tour that put you back into the 1800's when you walk inside. When you are done learning about carriages head over to Midway Speed Park in Rehoboth. Here you can get behind a go kart and race your friends on one of five tracks or try out your hand at mini-golf or bumper boats. Or head over to the Rehoboth Beach Board Walk and stroll along the beach, be sure to grab fresh fries from Trashers.

Delaware is knocking it out of the park when it comes to craft breweries, one of the biggest well-known breweries is Dogfish that is located in Milton. They also have a restaurant located in Rehoboth Beach. Another brewery close by is Mispillion River Brewing, they also host events like Meatball-Con and Cornhole tournaments. There are plenty of tours that will take you to all the major stops along the Delaware Beer, Wine and Spirits Trail.

With multiple hotel options in the area it can be a bit overwhelming to find one, Quality Inn & Suites located conveniently off of Route 13 is a good option.
