Job Duties

 The A&P Technician troubleshoots, repairs, inspect sand performs maintenance on Customer aircraft. Performs and documents all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.

  • Participate in 5-S activities
  • Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
  • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Operate ground support equipment as required
  • Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
  • May assist with maintenance at off-site locations
  • Assist in providing time estimates
  • Assist in performing complex repairs on aircraft systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
     

 

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing aircraft inspections under FAR 145, 121, 135 or Military experience on commercial / military aircraft.

    · CRJ airframe experience required.

    · MRO / Heavy Maintenance experience required.

    · FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.

    Must be willing to convert to a permanent position; we will not have a contractor Inspector for more than 6 months

    Have a working knowledge of special tooling and machinery used in detail inspection, as well as aircraft part fabrication process.

    Ability to calculate tolerances using specialty / calibrated measuring devices. Able to use and interpret a variety of precision measurement instruments and special tooling.

    Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.

    Must be able to pass hearing and vision tests.

    Ability to effectively communicate in English aircraft maintenance actions both verbally and in writing.

    Must be comfortable with 12-hour shift work, which includes days / nights and weekends.
