Job Duties
This is a back shop doing a complete overhaul on the engine however the position we are hiring for is directly involved with doing compression tests and repairs.
- Perform inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues
- Disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test engine components and systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensure proper use, care, and accountability of tools, equipment, and parts
- Support continuous improvement in maintenance processes to maximize efficiency and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience doing compression tests and repairs with Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and service bulletins
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality standards
