Component Structure Mechanics will maintain, inspect, repair, modify, overhaul and troubleshoot commercial aircraft components such as flaps, slats, rudder and cargo doors in compliance with policies, manuals, procedures and requirements.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild components
• Utilize OEM and Engineering drawings to modify aircraft components
• Complete specialized tasks, such as flap peening, cold working, etc.
• Fabricate repair parts using special shop tooling, such as brakes, stretchers, etc.
• Utilize special installation tools, such as blind rivet guns, etc.
