Job Duties

Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. 

  • The daily operation of assigned repair station duties in compliance with all applicable Code of Federal Regulations, Repair Station Procedures, customer requirements, and manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Maintaining FAA liaison for the assigned repair station.
  • Accomplishing investigations of accidents and supplying result to the Director of QA.
  • Placing emphasis on recurring problems such as general housekeeping.  HazMat compliance.
  • Ensuring personnel are trained and qualified in accordance with AerSale’s FAA approved Training Program.
  • Accomplishing internal quality assurance checklist, scoring and reporting.
  • Scheduling internal audits.
  • Liaison for customer audits conducted at AerSale.
  • Coordinating / conducting external audits.
  • Maintaining adequate records of discrepancies noted and corrective action taken.
  • Performing follow-up inspections to identify and prevent recurring problems.
  • Developing training curriculum as needed to support the Repair Station and employee training needs.
  • Conducting initial, recurrent and remedial training as required in support of the Repair Station.
  • Participating in “train-the-trainer” instruction.
  • Reviewing training records and material to ensure accuracy of records, information and materials.
  • Participating in the Internal Audit program by conducting on-site audits of OJT activities / records.

Other duties as assigned by the Director of QA and Adminstration.

Job Qualifications

A&P Mechanics with commercial aircraft experience. Perform such typical maintenance operations such as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting rigging and safety wiring, including powerplant and flight control removal and reinstallation

Engine Run, Auditing and Instructor experience a plus.  .

Facility Description

Our client has a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility that is qualified to perform unlimited maintenance and overhaul of large transport category aircraft. They handle heavy maintenance, engine removal and reinstallation, modifications and reconfigurations, full tear-down, cargo conversions, and complete logistic services.
