Description:The Sheetmetal Technician II works under general supervision to safely layout, fabricate and install parts, equipment and fabricated items on aircraft following established operating procedures. All work performed should be in accordance with company design specifications, quality standards and completed work should meet customer expectations.
Job Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience of sheetmetal and/or fabrication experience
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be shift flexible
- High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
- Valid drivers license required
Facility Description
This client is a service center located at St. Louis Downtown Airport (KCPS) across the Mississippi River from the business district in Cahokia, Illinois. The 637,457 square-foot/59,222 square-meter facility specializes in all major inspections, avionics installations and modifications, interior installations, modifications and refurbishment, major structural modifications and repairs, standard and custom aircraft completions, all-model component repairs and overhauls, composite repairs, engine repairs and overhauls, spare part exchanges and sales, drop-in and AOG support, paint work.
